Hire Space is an AI-powered recruitment platform designed for the US healthcare sector, helping hiring teams identify and connect with the right candidates faster. The brief.
Healthcare recruitment involves far more than matching a job title to a résumé. Roles come with specific experience, qualifications, availability and organisational requirements, while recruiters need to evaluate large candidate pools quickly.
The brief was to design an experience where AI could reduce that complexity without becoming a black box — surfacing relevant candidates, explaining why they matched and helping hiring teams move confidently from discovery through evaluation and hiring.
The Challenge
Making AI useful at the moment of decision
Healthcare hiring involves evaluating candidates across experience, skills, availability, location and role-specific requirements. The challenge was to introduce AI into this process without creating another layer of complexity or asking recruiters to blindly trust a score. The experience needed to make large amounts of candidate data easy to scan, compare and act on while keeping the reasoning behind AI recommendations visible.

Turning complex matching into clear decisions
I designed a unified hiring experience that brings candidate data and AI insights directly into the recruiter’s workflow. Clear information hierarchies, comparison views and match indicators help teams understand not only who is recommended, but why. A scalable design system creates consistency across discovery, candidate evaluation and hiring workflows, while keeping the interface lightweight enough for fast, repeated decision-making.
