Syrup was transforming a highly manual, data-heavy decision process into a digital product. The challenge was to bring complex information, multiple decision layers and operational workflows into one intuitive experience — helping users move from raw data to confident action without overwhelming them. The brief was to create a product that made sophisticated decision-making feel clear, fast and remarkably simple.

Many critical inventory decisions traditionally happened through spreadsheets, disconnected tools and highly manual workflows. Digitizing them wasn't simply a matter of putting the same tables into a web interface. Users needed to identify what required attention, understand why something was happening and determine what action to take — often across several increasingly detailed layers of information.

I translated these manual processes into structured digital workflows centered around the decisions users actually needed to make. The experience moves progressively from high-level signals and recommendations into increasingly granular data, allowing users to investigate without being confronted with everything at once. Clear hierarchy and reusable interaction patterns make a sophisticated, data-heavy product feel intuitive without removing the depth expert users rely on.
